My elbow cops are designed for fighters who want durable, low profile, long lasting protection without sacrificing weight. Vacuum formed from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), these cops can take a beating, will never dent or rust, and will last for ages. Note that some thickness variation is normal in my process, and some areas are closer to 3/16" once the plastic is cooled. However, all parts of the cop fall well within the definition of rigid material for SCA combat. Smaller sizes are vacuum formed from 0.22" sheets, while larger sizes are made from 0.25" sizes to accommodate how larger pieces thin out more when formed. 

These cops weigh between 4 and 6 ounces each, or 90-120 grams, and are sold by the pair. If you want a single, send me a note.

Cut

I offer three different cuts for elbow cops (photos coming soon).

• Sport cut - This model is the one I've been selling the longest, and can be seen in most of the the images shown. It is an asymmetrical design, with the inside wing extending long enough to cover the inside points of the elbow, and the outside wing extending beyond the arm for more protection.
• Full cut - Full cut elbow cops are symmetrical, with both wings as long as the longer outside wing of the Sport cut.
• Stealth cut - For those who want truly low-profile elbow cops, this cut has the same length of inner wing as the Sport cut, and a slightly longer outer wing. It is not meant to extend beyond the arm, but rather offers full coverage of the elbow points, with the outer wing offering just a little more protection. 

A Note About Strapping

I offer various strapping systems with this piece:

Elastic and Velcro: This is the most comfortable strapping system I offer. The strap is a durable elastic riveted to the cop. To make that joint more durable, polypropylene webbing is sewn to the elastic at the contact points, and the rivet passes though both the elastic and the webbing. The strap passes over the elbow, through a plastic ladder buckle and back onto itself.

Webbing and Velcro: This combines the convenience of velcro with the durability and strength of polypropylene webbing. The strap passes over the elbow, through an oblong metal loop and back onto itself.

Webbing and Buckle: This is the most secure strapping option I offer. Rather than burn holes in the webbing for the buckle pin, I work the pin of the buckle though the weave of the webbing for maximum durability.
