Basket Hilt Discount

SCA armoured combat is naturally hard on all basket hilts (metal and plastic alike). We have not heard of many issues with the ones we make, but not all basket hilts are created equal. So even if you've purchased from someone else and your basket hilt breaks, let Plasticsmtih Armoury take the sting out of that experience by offering you a 20% discount on a replacement made by us.

How It Works

  1. Using the hashtag #BasketHiltDiscount, post a photo of your broken basket hilt (made by anyone) on social media. You can post it on our Facebook page, or post it elsewhere. If you post it somewhere else, make sure to tag us, and that the post is public so that we can see it. Our social accounts are in the footer.
  2. If you don't already have one, create an account on our store. This allows us to assign you your discount code. If you sign up for our mailing list, you'll be among the first to know about new products and promotions. It's not required, but it's an option.
  3. If you don't hear from us, or if your social media post is under a different name than the account you created, send us a note to let us know, and link to your post.
  4. We'll send you a discount code, usable only by your account. Note that our site only allows customers to apply one discount code per order. Discount codes can be used in your cart when checking out. Contact us if you run into any issues.
  5. One discount per busted basket hilt, please. We want to make it easier to replace your broken gear, but if the promotion is abused, we'll need to take it down.

What's the Catch?

There is none. This is a bit of advertising for us, and a cheaper replacement basket hilt for you, so we think it's a win-win. The truth is that basket hilts get beaten up in armoured combat, and sometimes they break. Some brands more than others. We're willing to bet that that we won't see many (any?) of our basket hilts in these posts. But if we do, we'll be honest and transparent about it.

What's the Fine Print?

We reserve the right to refuse issue of discount codes if we think this promotion is being abused, or for any other reason we choose. We reserve the right to change or end this promotion at any time, for any reason, without notice.
