This is not my first foray into online armour sales. Way back in the early 2000’s I had a little site called lowprofilegear.com. I had just learned to vacuum form plastic, and my hope was to pay for my college degree with the profits.
That didn’t go so well for me, but not in the way you might think. I was fairly successful, but between armouring and school, I didn’t have much time to spend on the important things, and it was hard on my family life. So I shuttered the business in order to spend more time on the important things.
But over the years, I’ve been thinking about ways to improve my processes. I’ve been considering new molds, new patterns, and ways to make everything more cost effective. I have more time on my hands these days, and after a successfully sustaining a Facebook business for a few years, it’s time to take the next step.
For now, everything you see on this site is something I can make in short order. Eventually there will be more custom armour available (probably legs to start), but I’ll have to give that some more thought.
